Position: Designer – Design Department

Since our founding in 1979, it was in 1990 that Triangle Furniture Systems decided to specialize in the creation of furniture for dental clinics. Our motivation is to innovate and create products that will have a positive influence on our customers.

We are currently looking for a Designer to join our team.

What would your day-to-day look like?

You will complete the design office team as a technical draughtsman at Triangle, under the supervision of the Operations Manager. More concretely, the main tasks will be the following:

· Draw 3D parts, create assemblies and plans according to established procedure

· Carry out requests for correction or improvement of certain parts

· Maintain all documents in the design office database (PDM)

· Read, understand and interpret technical specifications and orders to prepare drawings for production Assist in the creation of bid files,

· in close collaboration with the Sales department and the company manager (2D and 3D visuals, specifications)

· Be able to propose interesting alternatives or modifications, ask for clarifications from customers if necessary

· Design 3D visuals and presentation plans for the Marketing department (catalogs, brochures, events, websites, social media etc.)

Profile sought:

· Know and master Solidworks and AutoCAD software

· Be bilingual; French / English (spoken & written)

· Demonstrate dynamism, interpersonal skills and creativity

· Demonstrate a strong team spirit

· Be skilled in reading and understanding an architectural or site plan

· Have a DEC, AEC or DEP in industrial design or another related field (an asset)

· Know and understand the design of a piece of furniture and the materials used (an asset)

· Knowledge of the Office Suite, Adobe Suite and/or computer graphics software such as KeyShot (an asset)
