About the Position
The Jr. Graphics Designer will assist in the creation of sales and marketing materials in accordance with Ddrops Company branding standards, including product packaging, corporate collateral, trade show and promotional items. The Jr. Graphic Designer will work closely with the Sales and Marketing Team to develop materials that contribute to Ddrops Company’s sales goals and growth.
Key Functions:
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand design requirements and develop assets for digital and print media, including paid ads, social media graphics, website elements, packaging, trade show materials, and promotional materials.
- Maintains brand consistency across all creative assets, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and visual standards.
- Contributes creative ideas and concepts to design projects that resonate with our target audience and align with brand identity, while incorporating feedback from team members to refine and enhance designs.
- Supports motion graphics and animation needs for videos, presentations, and other multimedia projects.
- Ensures retouching and resizing of assets.
- Assists in asset creation for marketing campaigns and product launches.
- Performs press checks and review proofs.
- Edits product photos, lifestyle photos and creates realistic photo manipulations.
- Contributes to the development and standardization of design and style elements.
- Assists in the maintenance and organization of design files and assets to ensure efficient workflow and project continuity.
- Stays updated on industry trends and best practices in graphic design and motion design to continuously improve skills and techniques.
- Plays an active role in fostering a collaborative team environment, contributing to the team’s engagement and creative dynamic.
Education/Experience/Skills:
- Post-secondary education in graphic design is required.
- Preferably one year of experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated critical detail orientation.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively and creatively within a team.
- Strong organizational abilities and the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite programs (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Proficiency with rendering creation and 3D Design software an asset.
- Working knowledge of MS Office.
- A compelling portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity.
- Must be resilient, adaptable and practice follow-through on all tasks.
- A high degree of professionalism at all times (discretion, judgment, punctuality, diplomacy and tact).
