We are currently seeking an energetic Inside Sales Representative to enhance our team in the Sudbury branch. This position is crucial for driving sales in Delta, BC, and the surrounding regions. The ideal candidate is a proactive and highly motivated individual who excels in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include managing and processing sales orders, handling customer inquiries, and coordinating effectively with internal teams to deliver outstanding service.
Responsibilities:
- Process sales orders received via phone, fax, email, or directly from sales representatives efficiently.
- Accurately input all necessary data for order fulfillment and manage non-stock material requisitions.
- Collaborate with departments such as outside sales, accounting, materials control, and warehouse to resolve customer issues.
- Prepare sales and delivery quotations, ensure accurate communication of quotes and product details, and coordinate delivery schedules with warehouse personnel.
- Employ effective selling techniques to boost sales, including promoting complementary products and leveraging special pricing opportunities.
- Oversee the completion and billing of direct shipments from suppliers to customers, and manage the returns process.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company’s product offerings and participate in ongoing training.
- Support physical inventory activities and perform reception duties as required.
- Participate in trade shows and special sales events to promote company products.
- Produce routine reports to assist in business operations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service, sales, or a similar role within a relevant industry.
- Prior knowledge of fire protection, plumbing, heating, or industrial pipes and fittings highly regarded.
- College Diploma in Sales/Marketing, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with web-based applications.
- Able to independently manage and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.

Additional Information:
- This is a full-time, permanent position.
- Regular daytime shifts from Monday to Friday, no weekend work required.
- Candidates should be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Greater Sudbury, ON.
