Winkler Co-op is hiring a full-timeWarehouse Worker at Co-op@Home.
What you’ll do:
The Warehouse Worker is primarily responsible for furniture assembly and assisting staff in the furniture department with merchandising and building displays. The Warehouse Worker will also load and unload trucks, put away orders using a picker and when required assist with deliveries of furniture, appliances, and electronics.
The Delivery Person will live the Co-op Brand and strive to achieve and maintain positive and healthy relationships with co-workers and customers.
Who you are:
You are looking for a great employment opportunity and:
- Are committed to service excellence and possess a friendly disposition.
- Can lift up to 50lbs and enjoy physical work.
- Can use a variety of tools (drills, measuring tapes, etc.)
- Have experience or interest in building furniture.
- Enjoy physical work.
- Have good communication skills.
- Have a valid class 5 license and willing to drive a one-tonne cube van.
- Willing to be trained to operate the order picker and willing to work at heights in the warehouse.
- Are available for full-time work, including working a rotation of Saturdays and some evenings.
