Join our dynamic team as a Marketing and Communications Coordinator! In this administrative role, you'll support our communications team by developing and executing a variety of exciting marketing and communications tasks. You'll play a key part in maintaining our diverse communication platforms, from social media marketing to website upkeep and creating engaging marketing materials.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
- Coordinate regular updates to various digital communications platforms.
- Prepare, edit, and proofread communications-related material, from verbal or written information.
- Create and modify documents using MS Office and Adobe PDF.
- Develop and maintain contact database systems.
- Coordinate project-based work.
- Coordination of Marketing Requests, calendar, coordinating deliverable deadlines, and external advertising (i.e. booking newspaper advertising, etc).
- Other duties as requested.
Qualifications:
- Relevant educational or employment experience.
- Familiarity with email marketing tools such as HubSpot, Customer.io, Mailchimp.
- Experience with social media marketing, Google Analytics, and/or content marketing.
- Post-secondary studies in digital media and/or marketing are considered an asset.
- Proficiency with MS Office products, with emphasis on Word and Excel, is required.
- Proficiency in English language skills is required; proficiency in French and/or other languages is considered an asset.
- Strong Organization and time management skills are essential.
- High Level of digital literacy is essential (comfort with MS Office Suite and Social Media, with a capacity/interest in developing additional digital literacy skills).
- Strong communications skills, both verbally and written.
