Position: Marketing Coordinator
Role: As the Marketing Coordinator for Eatertainment’s group of companies you would include working with Victoria Gibson (Director of Marketing), Sebastien & Sheila Centner (founders), and the entire Eatertainment sales and culinary team to plan, develop and manage on all aspects of our social media & marketing elements.
Responsibilities:
● Assisting our Director of Marketing with creating a monthly content calendar.
● Use tools including Hootsuite, Latergram and Facebook to plan and schedule content month-to-month.
● Maintaining and monitoring daily posts and uploads across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and other social media accounts for our multiple brands (@eatertainment, @sebandsheila, @designexchange, etc) with a eavy focus on driving engagement for all our social media accounts through community management.
● Working with website management tools (WordPress and Squarespace) to keep business sites up-to-date with the latest media appearances and features, blog posts, etc.
● Assisting the Director of Marketing in content creation. Including but not limited to: photo shoot, photo and video editing, graphic design, using apps such as TikTok & Instagram Reels, etc.
● Working with the broader marketing team (marketing director, videographer/editor, head of content) and culinary team to plan and execute internal photoshoots for new menus, events, etc.
● Assisting the Director of Marketing in TV productions, photoshoots and daily marketing initiatives. Partial list of tasks include; sourcing props, set dressing for media appearances and any other general admin.
● Collaborate with the sales team to develop promotional materials and sales collateral.
● General admin and assistance with the team regarding maintaining calendars, planning, coordinating, set up and execution of media-related projects.
● Monitor media coverage, tracking industry trends, working with head of content on developing new entertaining content ideas.
● Shared responsibility with full-time videographer/editor on event content capturing around GTA photographing food, atmosphere, and behind-the-scenes for both social media and in-house purposes. (some after hours and some weekends)
Qualification & skills:
● Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field
● Excellent writing and communication skills
● Extensive knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
● Experience using editing programs: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, etc.
● Experience with social media scheduling platforms: Hootsuite, Later, etc.
● Experience and knowledge in social media analytics to analyze results and adjust campaigns for maximum ROI.
● Skilled in copywriting, photography, and videography
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office
● Comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
● Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects concurrently
Location:
Eatertainment has two physical locations in downtown Toronto. Our contemporary warehouse style head office and test kitchen on Booth Avenue in the east end of Toronto (Broadview & Eastern Avenue), and our financial district event venue property Design Exchange located at Bay & Wellington.
Package:
· Base salary range – $38,000 to $45,000 (depending on experience)
· Benefits: full health plan, cell phone, laptop, parking at head office
· Annual bonus – team based
