Job Overview:
Pat’s Auto Supply, the Peace Region’s premier auto parts distributor, is looking for an experienced marketing professional to step into a key role within our business in support of our company’s branding and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Two years relevant experience as a marketing and/or communications professional
- A diploma or degree with a focus in communications, marketing, or other relevant discipline.
Duties:
- Plan, develop, execute and report results of seasonal marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with other internal teams (e.g. inventory and sales) to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives.
- Create and update web content and track online traffic using Google Analytics.
- Plan and coordinate customer and staff appreciation events including annual Golf Tournament.
- Create printed marketing collateral to support business development efforts of outside sales team including flyers, brochures, business cards, while ensuring brand guidelines are met.
- Update communication tools including in-store printed and digital signage, outdoor signage and on-hold messaging.
- Monitor inventory of promotional items, transfer items within branches as requested and replenish stock as required.
- Make recommendations on, purchase, coordinate and distribute customer Christmas gifting program.
- Administrate and promote customer loyalty programs.
- Administrate employee recognition program.
- Plan and coordinate training and development for staff and customers.
- Other tasks as they arise and are assigned by upper management.
Experience:
- Passion for the Automotive Industry.
- Proficient and creative social media skills across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google Business page.
- Strong graphic design skills
- Strong computer literacy skills – particularly with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experienced using email marketing software, Constant Contact or Mail Chimp preferred.
- Paid ad experience including Google and Meta.
- Experience managing external relationships with printers, web designers, graphic designers, and other suppliers.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills for all media
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to multi-task and work under competing priorities and deadlines
- Photography skills would be considered an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility with work schedule. Some weekend and out of town work will be required for special events and tradeshows.
