Account Executives are the key drivers of revenue and growth at Chatdesk. You will nurture and grow our relationships with clients by delivering exceptional performance and service. Your impact
- Be a champion for the company culture and find ways to establish this into your day to day experience
- Contribute to company goals by selling to Retail, E-Commerce, Marketing, Customer Support Management and related stakeholders within fast-growing e-commerce companies and Fortune 1000 enterprises
- Get an in-depth understanding of the competitive landscape in order to educate customers on how Chatdesk's solution compares and contrasts with the competition
- Manage enterprise sales cycles, from lead qualification to opportunity conversion, often presenting to C-level executives the value and power of the Chatdesk platform and services
- Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement in CRM tools
- Share Chatdesk's story and value through product demonstrations, in-market events, and account-specific initiatives
- Understand our customers' organizational goals and unique challenges and work with management to recommend and implement potential customer experience changes
- Compile analysis and industry research on customer experience innovation / trends, while engaging customers (e.g., meetings, white papers)

Requirements
- Cultural fit with our values
- 2+ years of experience in quota-carrying software or technology sales and account management
- Enjoy learning about different companies and understanding their business
- Motivated to help our clients and their companies be even more successful

- Scrappy and positive team player
- Experience selling into businesses with several month sales cycles and associated deal size from $5k ACV to $100k
- Experience managing the sales cycle from end user to business champion to the economic buyer or CEO/CFO level
- Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions
- Experience managing and closing sales cycles for new products in a relatively large market
- Previous Sales Methodology training, CRM experience, and strong customer references preferred
- Fast learner; adept at understanding and articulating new technologies and corresponding value propositions on the fly
- Able to work with customers directly without assistance or with minimal supervision
- Can clearly articulate complex technical and business solutions to diverse audiences
- Superb presentation skills
- History of successfully analyzing a customer environment in order to meet a broad range of customer needs
- Able to think on your feet, remain calm under pressure, and solve problems in real-time
- Travel required
