Job Title: Marketing Coordinator
Job Overview:
The Marketing Coordinator, based in Edmonton and reporting to Director, Corporate Services, will play a pivotal role in supporting our marketing efforts and maintaining a strong social media presence. You will be responsible for supporting various marketing activities, implementing digital marketing strategies to support our recruitment and business development initiatives. Curiosity is key in this role; you must strive to understand Morgan's unique voice, work culture, and the civil construction industry to effectively communicate and engage with our audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and maintain a consistent schedule of activities and campaigns across all social media accounts to help support Morgan's targeted recruitment and business development efforts
- Collect, analyze, and report on digital marketing data including, but not limited to, web traffic, and social media engagements to help Morgan make strategic decisions
- Facilitate professional communication and respond to employee reviews on all social media platforms
- Implement marketing plans that include print, media, and online content
- Support the creation and editing of video and photo content
- Provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and trends
- Understand and keep abreast of industry best practices as it relates to digital marketing and advertising
- Maintain and build upon your knowledge of marketing, including user research, data analytics, and marketing trends
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to assess marketing requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Other administrative duties as assigned, including event planning and internal communications
Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or relevant field
- 5 years relatable experience in marketing
- Experience in construction, heavy civil or similar would be preferred
Skills:
- Familiarity with analytical tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Documented success in creating targeted SEO-friendly online content
- Strong working knowledge of scheduling tools for social media such as Hootsuite
- Possesses strong communication, research, presentation, and creativity
- Thrives on delivering exciting campaigns and content
- Adapts to a changing workload and requirements
- Highly organized and able to work on multiple, competing priorities at any one time
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills with a high attention to detail
- Comfortable and competent communicating with all levels within the organization
