The OPPORTUNITY
As a Site Clerk working in the Civil & Infrastructure Operations team at Pomerleau Construction, you will play a key role in supporting the project team(s) with key administrative tasks. Working on large-scale building and infrastructure projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion – you will support the maintenance of project documentation, meeting schedules, and assisting with the coordination of project resources.
Please note that this role is based at a remote project site close to the Lower Mainland of Vancouver. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable working within this environment.
What YOU Will Do
- Ensure the updating of documents necessary for the construction site;
- Monitor the equipment on site and the allocation of costs to the project;
- Support project Superintendent in hiring site labor; (hiring form, and transfer of information to those responsible for payroll);
- Administer and maintain confidential information and records, including employee files;
- Handle all administrative responsibilities, as assigned;
- Weekly completion of payroll from site time sheets;
- Validate invoices and liaise with accounting department to ensure invoices are processed accordingly;
- Ensure the supply of consumables for the site team (PPE, water, etc.).
What YOU Will Bring
- 2+ years’ administrative experience
- A College Diploma in the field of Office Administration, or a combination of education and industry experience;
- Strong knowledge of the construction industry;
- A proven track record of project administrative support and team leadership skills;
- Solid written and verbal communication skills;
- Proven organizational skills and a keen attention to detail;
- Comfortable working at a remote project site close to the Lower Mainland of Vancouver.
The expected salary range for this opportunity is $50,000 - $65,000, plus applicable Project Assignment Uplift. Please note that salaries may vary depending on the candidate’s experience and geographical location. Listed compensation is exclusive of bonus and in addition to our extensive employee benefits program which is listed above. Availability of certain benefits may vary based on the specific job role.
