Primate Labs, a small (but mighty!) software company located in Midtown Toronto, is looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and enthusiastic candidate for the role of Software QA Analyst. The Analyst will provide quality assurance assistance for Primate Labs' software products including Geekbench and Geekbench ML. This is an opportunity to use multiple platforms and try out a wide range of desktop and mobile devices. Our customers are diverse, from individual consumers to Fortune 500 hardware companies, and rely on us to provide applications that produce accurate and unbiased performance assessments.

Responsibilities
As a Software QA Analyst, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Work closely with developers to develop, refine, and extend test plans.
- Perform manual testing on desktop, mobile, and web applications.
- Log, prioritize, and organize issues and user requests into our issue tracking system.
- Document, maintain, and review systems and processes.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
We're looking for candidates with the following background and skills:
- A University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- Strong command of the English language (both written and verbal).
- Professional and effective communication skills.
- Attention to detail and interest in identifying barriers for customers.
- Able to work independently with little supervision.
- Able to quickly develop strong product knowledge.
- Able to multitask and prioritize effectively.
The following skills are nice to have but by no means necessary:
- Experience writing scripts with Bash or Python.
- Familiarity with issue tracking software.
