The Toronto Blue Jays are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst.
OVERVIEW
The Business Intelligence Analyst will play a critical role in determining how data and insights are shared across Toronto Blue Jays Business Operations. The Analyst will evaluate and reconfigure existing business intelligence and reporting infrastructure to help support the operations of other departments, including Ticket Sales, Digital Marketing, and Fan Experience. The Analyst will also be responsible for identifying new opportunities to further expand the Blue Jays’ BI & reporting capabilities to help ensure that other teams are making data-driven decisions.
Additionally, the Analyst will work with other members of the Analytics team to design and conduct analyses that help solve challenging business problems. The Analyst will be a proven problem solver and critical thinker, who is able to collaborate with other stakeholders to drive key business outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help determine how data and insights are shared across the Toronto Blue Jays Business Operations team and reconfigure existing business intelligence and reporting infrastructure to bring this vision to life
- Create dashboards to support data-driven decision-making across Ticket Sales, Digital Marketing, Fan Experience, and various other TBJ departments
- Automate processes and reports to share KPIs with senior leaders across the business
- Help guide data strategy and implementation across major systems (e.g., data warehouse, CRM, customer data platform), ensuring that data is reliable and accessible
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Ticket Sales, Digital Marketing) to understand their specific data needs and provide the right tools and analysis to support their operations and decision-making processes
- Contribute to the growth and development of the Strategy & Analytics team by developing new capabilities and staying up to date on industry trends
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years experience in business intelligence, data & analytics, or a related field
- Comfort with manipulating large datasets in Tableau or other data visualization tools to effectively tell stories through data and uncover actionable insights
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience performing quantitative analysis to solve challenging problems
- Exceptional critical thinker with an ability to effectively communicate complex concepts
- Advanced skills in Excel; familiarity with SQL and statistical programming languages (e.g., R, Python) is a plus
- Team player with a willingness and curiosity to push past assigned work
- Baseball knowledge and passion for the game is a plus
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
