Currently, the City of Belleville has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, strategic, and dynamic individual to join our Environmental Services Department as an Asset Management Analyst.

PURPOSE & SCOPE:
Reporting to the Manager of Environmental Services and working closely with the Finance Department, this position involves administrating, documenting, implementing, researching, and support of Asset Management initiatives. This position provides operational assistance and compliance with the "Infrastructure for Jobs and Prosperity Act" through O.Reg. 588/17.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create an asset inventory and condition assessment of these assets.
- Collect, review and report on levels of service metrics, and assist in creation of internally developed levels of service.
- Assist with determination of risks that might impact or influence expected lifecycle activities.
- Administer and report on prescribed current levels of service.
- Assist with the creation of capital forecasts and financial plans.
- Assist with the determination of growth and employment forecasting.
- Assist with the creation of asset maintenance plan.
- Ensure Maintenance and Financial plans conform to the Safe Drinking Water Act and Associated Environmental Legislation
- Assemble meaningful statistical data of asset performance.
- Manage records related to assets.
- Track and monitor status of maintenance.
- Ensure legislated timelines for the asset management process are met.
- Other duties, as assigned.

EDUCATION/SPECIALIZED TRAINING/SKILLS
Minimum Qualifications:
- Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in an environmental or civil field.
- Valid Class G Driver's license with safe driving record, to be held and maintained.
- Strong computer skills in Office Suite of software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated record keeping, time management, organizational skills.
- Strong business writing skills including the ability to draft correspondence, meeting notes, and standard operating procedures.
- Strong oral communication skills including presentation to groups.
- Detail oriented with excellent proofreading skills.
- Possess excellent interpersonal, customer service, diplomacy, organizational and time management skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a work environment with requests coming from multiple sources throughout the workday.
- Working knowledge of "Worktech" software
- Thorough knowledge of GIS and CAD software.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum two (2) years' experience in asset or capital management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two (2) years' experience working in a municipal environment.
- Familiarity with "Infrastructure for Jobs and Prosperity Act" through O.Reg. 588/17.
