Job Overview

We are seeking a High School Math Tutor to join our team. As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in educating and supporting students in improving math and numeracy capabilities.

This role is a private tutoring role. Must be able to travel to the homes of students in North York to provide tutoring in the following postal codes: M6L (near 401 & Keele)

Responsibilities

- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students for grade 9 and 10 math.

- Educate and assist students with homework assignments and test preparation

- Create personalized learning plans to meet the individual needs of each student

- Write progress reports to track student development

Qualifications

*Nice to have: Experience working with children in educational settings
*Nice to have: Experience in a tutoring or teaching role
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students and parents
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
