Proud graduate and owner of a BASc in Electrical Engineering (with distinction) from the University of Waterloo after much toil. Interested in digital signal processing, data science/machine learning, computer networking, and geographic information systems, strangely enough. Has familiarity with embedded systems/prototyping experience (Arduino, Altium, Diptrace, etc.). Has experience in applying various programming and technical languages in a workplace context (e.g. Java, C, C++, Python). Not afraid to work with operating systems outside Windows; has wrangled Linux distributions with all their terminals and CLIs (primarily Ubuntu) in the workplace before. Has social/leadership experience involving communicating with and directing/teaching people effectively, and has been commended for technical communication/writing skills. Can both lift heavy things like medical x-ray detectors and help design the firmware for them.

Currently interested in IT/tech support/sysadmin or engineer-in-training/software dev positions , but business/QA/data analyst/general white-collar support positions are also welcome! Really, at the end of the day, I just want to help people with the technical skills I've acquired.
