Job Description:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to join our team and shape intuitive and engaging user experiences for our platform. As a UI/UX Designer at Hatch, you will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure our applications are user-friendly, visually appealing, and aligned with our business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design user-centered interfaces for web and mobile applications using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to convey ideas effectively to stakeholders.
- Create and maintain design systems and style guides for consistent user experiences.
- Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and validate designs.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure design accuracy and functionality across platforms.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and techniques to continuously enhance designs.
- Analyze user behavior and data to identify pain points and propose solutions for improved engagement and usability.
- Work with cross-functional teams to align designs with business objectives and technical feasibility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile designs.
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Excellent visual design skills with an eye for typography, color, and layout.
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience designing fintech or SaaS applications.
- Basic understanding of frontend development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to facilitate collaboration with developers.
- Knowledge of analytics tools like Google Analytics or Hotjar for user behavior analysis.
- Certifications in UI/UX design or related fields.
