SUMMARY:
APEX Mobile Media, one of Canada’s leading mobile advertising companies, is looking for a creative and
detail-oriented Creative Associate skilled in graphic design and video editing to join our team in Toronto. This
role will support our marketing and advertising efforts through high-quality visual content creation. APEX
Mobile has offices in Vancouver, Montreal, and Toronto and United Kingdom.
ABOUT:
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, APEX Mobile is currently seeking an experienced Creative Associate/
Graphic Designer to join our growing team. As a Creative Associate at APEX Mobile Media, you will
collaborate closely with the marketing and sales teams to develop compelling visual content that enhances
our brand and engages our audience. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including
eBooks, Guides, Company Branding, Reports, Sales Decks, Ad Samples – Video & Static, Social Media Content and more. As part of the APEX Mobile team the candidate will have the opportunity to collaboratively shape the future of a leading mobile advertising company.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Creative Associate is responsible for:
- Content Creation: Develop and edit engaging video content and graphics for various platforms,
content including eBooks, Guides, Company Branding, Reports, ad design & mockups
- Sales Decks, Ad Samples – Video & Static, Social Media Content, and more.
- Collaboration: Work with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute visual content strategies.
Report to the Marketing Managers.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery while
maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Market Understanding: Apply your understanding of advertising and media buying to create content
that aligns with market trends and client needs.
- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and stakeholders
to ensure project alignment and success.
EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND:
- Completed undergraduate degree with specialization / certification in graphic design and video editing preferred.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in graphic design and video editing. Candidates
with no professional experience should mandatorily have a portfolio showcasing their capabilities.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Premier Pro, and/or
Final Cut. Able to maintain brand consistency throughout all projects by use of fonts, logos, colours and assets.
- Multi-tasker: Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and set and meet deadlines.
- Soft Skills: Strong teamwork skills, communication (written and verbal), presentation skills and attention to detail.
- Proof of Ability: Able to provide examples/portfolio of previous work
- Language Proficiency: Excellent command of English. French language skills are a bonus.
- Location: Must be based in Toronto, ON and willing to work 3 days a week in office
based in downtown Toronto.
