CMLS Financial, one of Canada’s largest Commercial lenders, is looking for a Graphic Designer and Marketing Lifecycle Specialist to join our growing team. Reporting into the Associate Director, Operations and Media Relations, you will be an integral part of the marketing team, bringing your expertise to the table by creating exciting and compelling marketing campaigns. This is a fast paced, high volume role working with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders at all levels to support our growing Commercial group, working out of the Toronto office.
As the successful candidate, you will be an effective communicator with a strong sense of urgency. You take initiative, can multi-task, prioritize and work both independently and as part of a team. You have a keen eye for design and are known to bring new ideas to the table. You have an entrepreneurial spirit and are excited to find innovative ways to present a variety of marketing campaigns. About The Role
Design Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and produce marketing materials to promote CMLS Advisory including but not limited to: offering memorandums, brochures, booklets, email campaigns
- Take full ownership as project manager of all assigned projects including assisting in determining project strategy and deadlines, gathering content and coordinating campaigns end to end
- Format research-based information, such as market reports, newsletters, infographics, statistical graphs, charts and tables, and pitch decks to visually compelling final deliverables
- Act as ambassador of the CMLS brand, and help maintain consistency in all pitches, proposals and related materials
Lifecycle Responsibilities
- Design creative assets for lifecycle marketing emails, such as banners and imagery, ensuring visual appeal and alignment with campaign goals.
- Collaborate with sales leaders to develop email campaigns that support team initiatives.
- Set up and execute email campaigns in platforms such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact or Iterable, including all campaign details (e.g., sender/receiver information, accurate links, and tracking).
- Conduct thorough QA (pre and post deployment) to ensure emails are error-free, responsive, and aligned with brand standards.
- Strategically integrate creative assets and implement A/B testing to optimize email performance and engagement.
- Analyze campaign performance, providing actionable insights to improve future communications and engagement.
This Role Is For You, If You Have
- A degree in Graphic Design/Visual Communications or Marketing
- 2+ years of experience in a Graphic Design role corporate design role in a Commercial Real Estate or professional services setting
- Advanced Design skills using Adobe Creative Suite including In-Design and Photoshop and Illustrator and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline driven, team environment
- Outstanding attention to detail with commitment to creating quality work product
- Quick learner and advocate of new media, trends and technologies
