DashMart is a new team at DoorDash focused on building a new type of convenience store, offering both household essentials and local restaurant favorites to our customers' doorsteps.
About the Role
We're looking for a Merchandising Specialist who is excited to help build DashMart, DoorDash's first-party grocery and convenience store. You will execute the strategic vision of the Merchandising team, owning the storepage to create the most compelling and relevant experience for customers. The Merchandising Specialist will collaborate closely with the Vendor, Category Management teams, as well as the Pricing Specialist.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will…
- Execute day-to-day storepage updates to reflect broader merchandising strategy and optimize the customer experience
- Create curated collections of SKUs to ensure the storepage experience is as relevant as possible, introducing seasonal collections and other merchandising opportunities highlighted in the merchandising strategy
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and data to ensure all SKUs, including new additions, are represented appropriately on the storepage, and ensure the storepage is structured to drive optimum customer engagement
- Monitor performance of each element of the storepage through Add to Cart and Conversion rates, identifying and recommending actions to improve the customer experience
- Design and create storepage banners to clearly and creatively communicate promotions and other merchandising opportunities to customers

- Must have strong ownership mentality and creative mindset
- Must have proficiency with spreadsheets
- Must be detail-oriented, organized and process-driven
- Must have effective written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience using Figma or Photoshop preferred
