Role and Responsibilities:
The Graphic Designer will take a lead role in the quality and caliber of design that the Design team delivers, providing brand consistency across all channels. The candidate will: work alongside other designers, align team priorities with business objectives; and deliver high quality work. The individual will collaborate with various departments, including marketing, engineering, event planning and editorial teams on a wide range of projects in both the print and digital space.
- Reports to the Art Director (works closely with Marketing Manager, CEO and SVP)
- Experience in designing to the spec of existing brand guidelines while maintaining consistent branding across all media and platforms
- Design marketing collateral to support an updated brand identity
- Creation of assets, including: trend reports, brochures, client presentations, event signage, landing pages, email marketing templates and event space planning/design considered an asset
- Creation of social media/ads visuals that sparks engagement on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and more
- Design materials for both internal and external uses, exercising competencies in data visualization and layout
- Collaboration with the Design and Marketing teams to launch products
- Create printer ready files and collaborate with printers
Requirements:
- Creative, fast learner, analytical thinker, problem solver, efficient at time management
- Ability to manage in an environment of change and ambiguity to help us take bold, strategic moves
- Ability to balance multiple high-priority projects at once without missing deadlines
- Resourceful in seeking out training materials and tools, while keeping a pulse on current and relevant design trends
- Action oriented and comfortable taking calculated risks
- Outcome focused, critical thinkers with the ability to analyze and visualize, to ensure continuous improvement across the business
- Production of assets both digital and print with an ability to communicate ideas via typography, imagery and colour
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Express and Acrobat) and PPT
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Experience with video creation & editing, Constant Contact or Pardot considered an asset
- HTML and CSS skills are an asset
- UX/UI experience is an asset
- 1-3 years experience required
We are looking for someone with a strong knowledge of graphic design, excellent communication, problem-solving and time-management skills. Comfortable ideating both independently and with other designers, and receiving feedback on designs which may require multiple rounds of revisions. Organizational and detail-oriented aptitudes are necessary to keep up with website updates and produce printed materials in advance of hard deadlines.

Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000
Start Date: Immediately/the earliest convenience of the hired applicant.
