Product Owner

What You’ll Do
- Elicit, analyze, and specify functional and non-functional requirements comprehensively.
- Thoroughly document release notes and feature to accompany each sprint release, epics, and user stories
- Develop positive work relationships with all levels of management and other departments in the company and clients, work collaboratively with corporate functions, HR, legal, finance, etc.
- Manage and maintain the priority of the items in the release backlog, including user stories, bugs, tech support escalations to maximize the value of the product, while staying aligned with the vision and strategy.
- Create and conduct detailed test cases and validations.
- Work with internal and external partners, integrating multiple systems and complex project delivery.
- Drive and support security and privacy reviews, change control management, risk management, and other project deliverables.
- Identify future need states and business pain points of Procom’ customers and helping map those to developing product features.
- Research competition, market trends, customer habits, product viability, and technology viability to drive differentiated growth and capture market share relative to competitors.
- Work with client services, support teams, and provide a transfer of knowledge in written and verbal form.
- Facilitate communication between the development team and stakeholders to ensure alignment on product vision and roadmap.
- Continuously gather and analyze user feedback to inform product decisions and improvements.
- Take initiative to identify gaps in our products and process and solve to drive meaningful value for our clients.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of experience working as a Product Owner within staffing/contract management.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree, CSPO equivalent designation or familiarity with best practices.
- Strong working knowledge and understanding of B2C products.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in data-driven discovery, scoping, and impact analysis.
- Experience with agile practices.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs.
- Familiar with tools such as Miro, Azure DevOps, Product Analytics Systems (Google Analytics), and In-App Messaging (Userpilot, Pendo, or Appcues).
- French is an asset.
